Prizes

The prizes for winners in the individual entries in the three categories are:

1st Place Award: Cash prize of N100,000.00
2nd Place Award: Cash prize of N60,000.00
3rd Place Award: Cash prize of N40,000.00

The Winners and Finalists (also known as ‘Honourable Mentions’) in all the three categories will get to participate in a mini writing workshop organized by the Patron of the competition, multiple award-winning author of The Fishermen and An Orchestra of Minorities, Chigozie Obioma.
The Winners and Finalists will each get a Certificate of Achievement.
All the winning entries and the entries of some of the ‘Honourable Mentions’ will be published in the MyRainbowBooks Children’s Collection (Vol. 8) which will be available for purchase before the end of 2023.

The prizes for winners in the school category are:

1st Place Award: N50,000.00 worth of books and a plaque award for the school.
2nd Place Award: N30,000.00 worth of books and a plaque award for the school.
3rd Place Award: N20,000.00 worth of books and a plaque award for the school.
